Dyno Day anyone? Sat Nov 19th
I'm hoping there will be another dyno day coming up. My car is due for smog in a couple months. Still haven't given it a full on tune since Don dropped it in.
Preferably the first week of November.

lol Not yet. After irwindale last night and the previous dyno day I need to get my TV cable issuse fixed. I'll make an effort for that before this dyno day, and talk to my buddy in making that air lid.

Awesome, my first dyno. I'm there.
Don, maybe you can bring the notes with all my motor specs, so I don't have to keep telling people "Well, the valve cover says Chevy on it" whenever they ask about the new motor.

Sorry for the delay, here is the info:
MD Automotive
7281 Westminster Blvd
Westminster, CA 92683
714-891-1113
We'll start on Saturday November 19th at or around 9:30am.
1. Kevin (91Z28)
2. Don (90TA)
3. Allen (89GTA)
4. Steve (84TA)
5. Andy (89IROC)
6. Tony (91Z28)
7. Rich (85Camaro)
8. Troy (88Corvette)
9. Peter (92Camaro)
The above list is *not* the running order. We'll decide the running order that morning depending on readiness and if people need to leave early.
Dyno cost is $75 cash payable to Mark. All the above people have bought custom tunes from me so no extra cost there.
Please check your cars for fluid leaks, set the initial timing, check for burned spark plug wires, etc, now so we have fewer issues that day.

Whats the weather looking like?
I have to work until 2pm or later.
Hope there's still some donuts left and cars to see on the dyno by that time!
Is there going to be a meeting afterward?

Any chance I can be either first to go, or some time around 2pm? I gotta try to be at home around 11am but i can do it before or afterwards. I can also attend the dinner.

Re: Dyno Day anyone? Sat Nov 19th
Nothing spectacular but some people got some new #'s.
We dynoed 6 cars so it was a full day.
One that stands out was an '92RS with a ZZ4 tune port 5 spd.
that recorded 290/400 with a motor out of the crate, but with my headers and a 3"
cat back.
I think everyone had a good time.
Allen and Kevin I didn't get ours ready.

Re: Dyno Day anyone? Sat Nov 19th
I had an issue with the fuel/air mixture but by the time Don and Kevin were done working their magic with the tuning I was more than a little surprised by almost 400 (396.7 IIRC) ft/lbs of torque.
A big thanks to Don, Kevin, Troy (I don't think I left anyone out, but if I did, my apologies) and everybody else for their work.

We checked it out on Troy's car when we got back, it works ok.
I'll be glad to help you anyway I can.

Yea, a critical day @ work for me, I had to miss the whole party. However, I did send my alter ego "Corvette Troy", and I understand he continues to wave the Troy flag proudly. Good boy, Troy!!
