Wonderbars, are they worth it?
Guys, I hear all this about these "wonderbars". First of all what are they (I dont really know so thought I would ask) and do they make much of a difference to steering/suspension.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Not a huge difference, but for between $15 and $35 depending on where you pick one up at, it's a good dollar-for-dollar mod.
It's basically a bar that sandwiches between the swaybar bushings and the front subframe and ties them together.

Will this help my frame from twisting when I turn the wheel hard left to lock? It seems the power steering twists my frame when the car is on jack stands. What the hell????

Comparable materials were used. 10 gage HRS for the mount pads and .75" OD 11 ga HREW tubing. Mine has a longer weld length. Also the GM version has the formed lip turned up, which can trap more dirt and debris. I designed mine that the formed lip is pointed down. GM Version, is painted. Mine is powder-coated which is a more durable finish. Only 3 left in stock as of today.

Here's the way I see it when the question is asked if they are worth it-- GM would not have gone through the trouble of putting one on the Iroc's stock if they didn't feel it was important. The fact is that they did add it for a reason--- The frames will crack under heavier cornering loads via wider tires on the Iroc's sport package. Anyone running their car hard in corners should definately purchase one.

I think I've got one of those on my car but I didn't install it. Do they go between the radiator and the crossmember? I know there's 1 like 2 inches in front of the crossmember but that's for the steering, but then there's the one probably about 5-6 inches away from the crossmember, and 1-2 inches away from the bottom of the radiator. Is that it?

The bar mounts between the swaybar brackets and the frame. Its the one closest to the radiator in front of the swaybar.
