Changing Break System

Okay - I'm kind of new to the performance aspect of cars - still learning a lot of the basics. Anyway, I was wondering how hard it is to change the rear drum breaks out for discs and if it is even worth my while. From what I understand, disc breaks are much more effective than drums and I was figuring I might as well change the drums i the back for discs if I am doing other brake work. Anyway, all info would be greatly appreciated.

When i put in a 93 Z28 rear it hat disc brakes on it, Mine work

I dont know how easy i would be to put disc brakes on a drum brake rear end thouth. You would need the caliper mounting brackets. (I completley changed mt whole rear end to a new rear end, I didnt add disc to a drum set up)

Any more questions just ask.

Converting your rear from drum brakes to disc brakes is a snap.

I have the entire procedure outlined on my CD.

This is a very popular conversion.

of course you will notice a much bigger diffrence if you upgrade the front brakes (they do a large majority of the braking) upgrading to something like the 1le kit, or the baer kit.
