alston SFC's and Spohn SFC's

some body posted a pic of some alston SFC'c that look like they will work in conjunction with the spohn SFC's. the alstone ones connect the inner rails front and back with a cross brace. I looked on the alston site but could not find the pics, if some one has them please post them here. Also does anybody know if these will work with the spohn ones?

Go for it. I installed Alston's and Global West SFCs on my '91 GTA. Car now feels as tight, if not tighter, than my '01 Trans Am which has Kenny Brown SFCs. Bottom line is Alston's won't interfere with Spohn/KB/GW SFCs.

does it matter which ones you put in first? or can you weld in either of them first and still be able to fit the other set in?

Will they work with the ssm bars? I would like to get a set that is not going to set me back too much for now but would like to go with the ssm liftbar setup in the future and it comes with sfcs that the lift bar crossmember connects to.

Since they don't interfere/interact with each other, one can install them in any order. As for SSM, I've never seen these SFCs, so I can't answer this for sure, but as far as I know, they run along the rocker pinch weld, which shouldn't interfere.

Do the Alstons provide as much ground clearance as the Spohns?

What diameter are the Alstons and how close to the floor do they run?

Also, do you need to drill holes if you use the alstons as bolt ons or do they use existing holes.

alstons run tight to the floor pan and dont interfere with ground clearence at all. i had my welded in at a local exaust shop for $80.00. No bolts. If you want to bolt you must drill holes.

Well, I plan on using the ssm lift bars and they come with their sub frame connnectors because it is what the crossmember for the liftbars connects to. Basically i was wondering if I bought the alston connectors for now while because the lift bar/subframe connector kit is like 500 dollars if it would be possible for the crossmember for the lift bars would clear the alston connectors?
