Looking for caliper rebuild kit for '89 9 bolt rear PBR...

Does anyone know the rebuild kit part # for the aluminum rear calipers? I tried the SEARCH and only came up with info for the pre '89 iron calipers.

Thanks in advance,

tom

if there's an advance auto parts near by go to them and order (1 Per Side)...

TRU TORQUE

BRAKE CALIPER KIT
Part Number: D352746
6.99
you can even order these off the net if you so wished to. it's an authentic PBR rebuild kit. i know because i rebuilt mine, with this very kit, and all the rubber part's have PBR on them. They are rebagged by this tru torque company because the bag inside the the bag says PBR some part # and made in Austrialia.

Tom,
I scanned in the exploded view pages pertaining to the '89-'92 (they also show '88 on some items ) rear PBR brake calipers. These are right out of the GM service parts catalog....

FYI some of the parts may not be available anymore and some have new part numbers. However, most items are identical to those used on the '93-'97 f-bodies and thus still available I believe.

I hope the images come thru........

I don't have Advance Auto's near me but I do have Autozone's. Autozone has the same kit that has PBR parts, but is packaged by a company called Brakeware. The part number for this kit is 60196. It costs slightly more at $10 per kit.

That's the funny thing...I go to Advance for the same parts AZ charges me almost double for. I got a 9 bolt Felpro diff gasket at Advance for $5.17 including tax. The same gasket at Autozone was $11 before tax.

Guess it's business.

Good luck with the rebuild.
