Ok, I have a '91 305Man bird. The suspension is original and is pretty worn out. The steering wheel shakes when its cold out. Planning on getting new front tires, ones in back are 4 months old. Major problem is that every time i hit any kind of bump or dip my rear end sounds and feels like its bottoming out. What do you guys suggest i should do to replace-upgrade my suspension and what should i get first. Thanks.

Start with shocks/struts/alignment/good tires/good front suspension parts(replace the worn stuff).

I would recommend replacing all suspension pieces before doing any alignment to keep from throwing off any angles. The shocks and struts need to be replaced followed by the idler arm and maybe pitman arm if play is present (this will keep your car aligned after adjustment). Then go around and check the bushings. Go ahead and replace the swaybar and stabalizer bar bushings since they are fairly cheap and easy to be had. Check the ball joints and lube everything if not sealed. This is just a start. Then If need be you can replace the springs and go wild with tubular parts !

*edit* Forgot to mention.....SUBFRAME CONNECTORS. Get them now and fast. You will be amazed at the difference in structural stability. Have them installed by a professional. There is a lot of ways to screw up while installing them (installing while chassis is flexed, bad welds, etc..)
