whatever the axles are assuming the rear is the same length as stock, otherwise you will run into backspacing issues. gm rwd bolt pattern is 5 by 4.75. ford is 5 by 4.5 i think

The majority of aftermarket axles are sold with the GM bolt pattern even if they're for a 9". I special ordered mine with the ford bolt pattern because I use ford drum brakes. Some axles may even have a dual bolt pattern on the flange so you can use them on whatever rims you have.

I use Weld Draglite rims which have both bolt patterns.

Well, I don't know if it's got GM axles or not. All I know is the GTA rims that came with it, had to be re-drilled in order to fit the rear.
The rear and rims were on an '87 GTA. I'm just wondering which pair of rims I can use for slicks.
Is there a way to tell which axles are in it?
Sorry guys, I jsut realized I posted it in the Suspension section, instead of the Drivetrain, lol. Thanks,
