Spohn steering kit???
Is anyone using this kit on here???
http://www.spohn.net/product.cfm?productid=1374
I really need to replace my frontend steering linkage. Everything else up front is new including new a-arm bushings, new ball joints, new struts, sway bar mounts/endlinks, etc. The only thing left is the stock 185k mile steering linkage and steering box. The frontend just doesn't feel "right"... especially with the huge 275/40/17's I run up front. I'm curious on everyone's thoughts on this Spohn kit? The only problem is that I don't need the ball joints or outer tie rod ends... Any help? Also, what about a steering box? Any recommendations? Price? How can I check mine out?? I'm ready to make some 120+ MPH 1/4 mile passes and I'd rather have my steering and everything perfect.
Thanks!

I think it's fine, but pricey. There are parts out there that aren't moog in name, but is the same piece under a different label.
I bought mine from http://www.performancesuspension.com/ . You get some bushings too or you can ask them to not include it for a small discount. I opted to not get the sway bar bushings as I had greasable ones, and control arm bushings as I had Del-A-Lums. I did get the endlinks, wouldn't hurt for the little they would discount the price on.
You can buy a centerlink, and get the tie rod end adjuster from coleman racing (aluminum instead of the steel one). 4" length is what you need. I bought the Spohn adjuster a long while ago, but the coleman one is cheaper and will do the job just as well. Some jam nuts can be bought anywhere.
It's up to you though. If you must have Moog, get the Spohn kit. You can also go to Napa, from what I understand they have heavier duty items than Moog.
