Firestone Indy 500 tire opinions?
Does anyone own these tires or know if they are any good? I was thinking 235/60/15 for my turbo cast rims. I want a tire that will have a nice performance look to it but obviously not sacrifice handling and grip.
What are the opinions on the Firestone Indy 500 tires?

Awesome! Thanks, that's just what I needed. I think these tires will be pretty good on my TA. They supposedly hold up pretty well in the rain too, and it does rain alot in Vancouver.

I have winter tires on my car right now. But when springs comes, I have already done the research, read opinions, and saw some in person to make up my mind on purchasing them. I'm getting 235/60/15 for my stock RS rims.

Its a very good topic... I have them on a few of my cars actually. They are cheap, and a very good tire. I had them on my 90 Taurus, my 84 caddy coupe deville, and I run them on my 84 z28 now... Dry traction is good, wet traction is good. I have no problems driving on the highway at at least 65 mph in the rain. My only problem is that I run 2 different sizes of tires, so I cant rotate them front to back... so basically, my back tires wear out fast - maybe I should do so many burnouts?
