Jegs Complete Suspension Performance Kits ?

My 89 Iroc has all the original suspension parts untouched still from factory and i am now looking for a upgrade and the Jegs package caught my eye.
The question is does anyone have experience with the "Jegs" kit setup,i am not looking for a roadcourse killer car but i whant the car to handle a bit firmer i feels kinda mushy right now,the kit goes for 716usd by the way and is called 363-3801.140K product number on the jegs site.

The kit Includes following stuff:

Eibach Pro-Kit Front and Rear Springs: lowers 1'' front/ 1'' rear
Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex Bushing Kit: front and rear control arm bushings, front end link set, transmission mount, rear panhard bar bushings, and tie rod end boots.
KYB GR-2 Front and Rear Struts and Shocks
Suspension Techniques front (1-3/8'') and rear (1'') Sway Bars

----

regards Mats

Most of that stuff is pretty standard stuff that you could get anywhere. Poly is always good but it has a tendency to squeak, which can be annoying. My torque arm squeaks pretty often unless I grease the thing weekly.

Many people on here are running those springs so I think that it’s safe to say that they’re widely accepted.

KYB makes a good budget shock, but better is out there. I personally favor Koni, particularly their sport line. Shox.com sells the pralines and Koni sports in a package deal for $800, which isn’t that bad of a price when you consider that the front shocks alone cost $500 if you were to buy them individually. The best thing about moving to a higher level shock is that they’re warranted for life.

As for the swaybars, don’t bother. Measure your stock bars. Since you have an Iroc you probably already have a 36mm front bar and a 24mm rear bar stock. The aftermarket bars you mentioned won’t yield any improvement unless they’re adjustable and you’re really into tweaking the feel of your car.

Skip the sway bars and buy better shocks IMO.

Thx for the advice,i measured the swaybars and your correct they are 36 and 24mm so that really is a waste of money to order a kit with swaybars again,i think i will go for the shox.com deal if they can ship them overseas to Europe.
Koni sports yellow in Sweden a set will cost something 1100usd so maybe i can save some money and get the Eibach springs "for free".

Thx again regards Mats
