Re: skinnies
i know they saved about 75 lbs off the car or so over my stock Irocz rims/tires
only took it to the track once for 2 runs and the car wasnt running right..think its a bad fuel pump... also the weather was crappy but i did pick up almost a tenth so far with the car cutting out in the top of third... Give it a few weeks when i can race again, and i'll have some more good data for you. i'll keep you posted

Re: skinnies
my car was doing 10.60 w/ irocs & 245 50 16`s...I changed to the Mickey Thompson ET drags w/ moroso 28/4.5 fronts and it started lifiting the front wheels off the ground and picked up a 1/10th in the 1/4 and 60`s went from high 1.6`s..low 1.7`s to solid low 1.5`s. 10.50 1/4
front iroc with a kelly charger tire was 46 lbs
15x3.5 MT et Drag w/ a moroso 28x4.5....... 19 lbs....12 for the tire, 7 for the wheel.

Re: skinnies
well now i can update this thread, i forgot all about it. my prostars and star wheel skinnies up front dropped about 75 lbs off the car.
my best Irocz time in decent weather was 13.24. in better air, my car went 12.95. mph went up 2. 60 foots went down .03-.04. not a good comparison due to the better cooler air i raced in.
So all in all, i think i just gained a tenth or so, and maybe just a bit of mph in the topend. 60 foots may have increased just a bit, and is still pretty consistant.
