Vibration issue - SOLVED!

I'll start off by stating my problem and then my solution, for the sole purpose of helping others that were as disparate as me for a solution to the vibration that would plague my car at RPM's above 3000. I searched these boards and read numerous vibration threads only to come up with a list of tons of things to track down and diagnose. I ended up putting off the disassembly of my powertrain to balance everything because I couldn't believe that something was unbalanced, my clutch and flywheel were new and my engine was just rebuilt (and balanced properly). Also, I had a stock driveshaft and I have never heard of a stock driveshaft being unbalanced although it does happen.

My problem: My car would vibrate and so would the shifter when I was moving (not idling). Sitting still and revving the engine to 7,000 (redline for me) would produce NO strong vibrations, just normal ones from the engine twisting so hard. Driving under 3,000 rpm's or under 70 mph would produce very little vibrations, and was what I had to do to keep my car from rattleing apart.

Possible issues it could be after reading this board EXTENSIVELY: Tranny mounts, unbalanced flywheel/engine/driveshaft/rear gears/basically anything unbalanced, engine mounts, sticky brakes, and more.

My solution: I found out that the two bolts that secure the rear axle end of the ladder bar (torque bar) were almost falling out. They had broken, and were basically wiggeling freely. This caused my ladder bar to move instead of stay rigid, and caused unearthly vibrations in the shifter and whole car when the rpms were too high (in gear) or I went too fast. God knows how they didn't just fall out one day, but my trusty mechanic noticed it when I had the car in for new exhaust. I replaced the bolts and the bolts that go into the transmission (just for extra precations) and guess what.. NO VIBRATION! No vibration at all, all the way up to 100+ mph and all the way to 7,000 rpm. I am so happy that I finally found the source of my vibration troubles after looking for so long!

I hope this helps even one guy looking for a solution to his/her vibration problem!
