Re: help redoing my front end...

if you wait a bit longer you can just buy a front end rebuild kit from spohn or BMR or UMI.
the spohn one is like 350 if you add the ball joints and ive heard good things from it.
i plan on getting it once i get my SFCs and drop spindles.

Re: help redoing my front end...

Welcome to TGO. Hoard your pennies and do the rebuild all at once. It'll save you time and effort as well as the cost of multiple alignments.

If you so desired, you could install the sway bars (greaseable poly and poly end links) without having issues. When you do the front sway, consider a Wonderbar as well.

Re: help redoing my front end...

i have been looking into a wonder bar but im doing a motor swap in a month or so. (waiting till the snow flys cuz i cant drive her anyways then, then less down time) i figure no point and installing a wonder bar till the new motor is in case there is any clearance issues and just so i dont have to remove it.

There should be no issues since the motor's coming out the top (at least there wasn't with my motor swap), but waiting can't hurt.

"
What you are calling the wonder bar across the top is STB or" Strut Tower Brace".
The so called wonder bar is "Steering box support" and is located below and in front of the engine. Some people call it a wonder bar because they wonder what it's function is.

Use the correct terms and everyone will be on the same page.
