Where to find a transmission torque arm bracket?

Mine is apparently missing and the previous owner took radiator hose clamps to secure the torque arm to the trans.

I checked it out and the bolts to the bracket are broken off in the tailshaft. So Im guessing my options are to find a new tailshaft or drill these out.

A buddy said they have a torque arm that also doesnt mount to the trans and mounts somewhere else Anyone know what he's talking about.

Re: Where to find a transmission torque arm bracket?

Thanks for the recommendations

The kits in the link below work very nice for this issue. They offer a new transmission crossmember along with a built in torque arm mount. The torque arm mount will work with the factory torque arm as well as virtually any aftermarket transmission mounted factory style torque arm.

If you have any questions please ask. Thank you!

you would advertise yourself. The UMI is good dont get me wrong but for $200 more you get a nice adjustable torque arm from spohn. I guess it depends on what your trying to do and what you want to spend.

We offer both the relocation bracket shown and the full torque arm set-up... I just posted the bracket because the user was looking for a mount and might not have wanted an entire torque arm.

Here is a link to out full assembly which includes a similar mount and torque arm- http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...dex&cPath=6_93

We offer them for different transmissions and with or with out a drive shaft loop.
