Power steering pump replacement

I am not sure if this goes here, but I thought that I would try and see what kind of help I can get. I have a pump with a reservoir and the new one looks like it has two places for something to go in there. I can see on the old one that there is something there. One look like just a plug and the other is a bolt that screws into the pump. Anyways, do I need to put the two items from old pump on the new one? If I do how? I don't have a vise or a impact handy. Thanks.

Yes, switch them over. Not hard to remove. a deep socket and ratchet should suffice for the stud, and a flare wrench for the plug.

IIRC, you might need a new hose so you do not void the warranty...not sure though...its been a while since I changed one.

If you wait an extra day, you can get the pumps with the res already attached for only $10 more at AutoZone - they don't usually have them on shelf but can get them in a day - $51.99 + $7 core IIRC. Then all you have to do is take lines off old, install on new - easy.
