Aftermarket suspension vs 1LE
I wasn't sure whether to this on the chasis/suspension forum or here so I just posted it here lol. With that said, this will be a pretty noobish question. I am aware that the 1LE is the "ultimate" sport factory package, but my question is, are there aftermarket suspension products that match/are better than what the 1LE offers. also, out of all the aftermarket suspensions, which are the most reputable (or best choice). This is actually my first camaro (and car) so I don't have any knowledge and experience. I'm looking to upgrade the suspension before I begin to work on anything else. please help me. I'm going crazy haha.

Re: Aftermarket suspension vs 1LE
It was good when it came out in our cars, but that doesn't mean it is the best bang for the buck. FWIW, tires shocks and struts made a huge improvement. I would spend my money to freshen up the suspension on a 20 year old car. Everyone has their favorite "brand" I personally would look around for reviews, i'm not going to give you some biased thought.
Welcome to the forum though!
Also this should definitely be in the suspension forum, it will probably get moved.

Re: Aftermarket suspension vs 1LE
The difference between a top level Z28 and a 1LE is a set of brakes and AC delete. Everything else minor. 91-92 got the same gas tank.
You can easily modify a thirdgen to surpass 1LE performance.
