Re: Happy Independence Day from UMI! Enjoy 10% off

As both, a new member and a veteran ... THANK YOU
for remembering us. I truly hope you and yours had a safe and enjoyable 4th
I do have a question about your 4130 rr k member, will a sbc with a dry sump pump clear it?
I am just in the "gathering " stage of my build and like what I have seen and heard about your products . but before I buy, would like to know if it will work for my application . I have purchased a 85 ta with 20,776 actual, original miles on it. it's going to be driven on the street .
first with the back up engine ( it's cheaper to build than the big engine ), with 600 + hp backed by a rockland standard gear. zf 6 spd. running a dana 44 w/3.92:1 cogs and a spool .
the big engine will be the one with the dry sump setup as well as an f3a121 procharger making in the neighborhood of 1600 rwhp. hope that is enough info for some sound advice on suspension components . thanks Rick

Welcome to the board. And thanks for your service.

As there are many different dry sumps I'll answer your question with a few photos. As you can see, there is some nice clearance in there.

Thanks Ramey, I actually thought you guys might laugh at the question ( if ya did, let me live the dream a bit longer, lol)
One last question, can I get the k member unpowder coated? my project is not goin to have any red & am trying to keep the black to a bare minimum .

We'd never laugh at someone who wants to dry sump a 3rd Gen. That's cool!

We build all our stuff in-house and we can ship without powder coat. Price is the same as we have to route it differently through the shop and that covers the paperwork...

That's great! I have a few more things to finish up before I can order your entire suspension. I will be having the welded in pieces painted with the car and the bolt in pieces powder coated white .
Thanks Rick

Re: Happy Independence Day from UMI! Enjoy 10% off

I am also planning on moving the rear frame rails and spring pockets inboard about an inch on both sides, as well as doing away with the panhard bar in favor of a watts link set up. That shouldn't affect wether or not I can use your coil over kit will it? gotta make room for the. 20x13" rims and ZR1 tire package . THANKS FOR BEING SO AVAILABLE AND WILLING TO ANSWER MY / OUR QUESTIONS, so few businesses have any real customer support these days .
Sincerely Rick Brown
