looking for OE control arms...

i am going over the suspension on my 89 Formula and i'd like to replace the lower control arm bushings and ball joints. rather than break my chops pressing ball joints and burning out bushings i'd rather just buy and install a new OE control arm which has the bushings and ball joints already in. the problem is i can't find an OE control arm, i'm not looking for tubular bc i want to keep it stock.

the only one i could find is this one, made by mevotech but i've never heard of them. it meets all my requirements though being stock and having the bushings and ball jjoints already installed

any opinions on this? assuming it's a cheap brand...any alternatives you guys know about?

Don't outsmart yerself.

Go to the junkyard and get a pair. (of control arms, that is...) They're STOOOOOPID CHEEEEEEEEEEEP, and they'll have em sitting there on the shelf; must fit A BUNCH of other vehicles as well, maybe S trucks, A/B/G bodies, iunno but there's A BUNCH of em whatever they are. Cost ya maybe $30 the pr. Take em to yer local tire store about 15 minutes before closing time along with new BJs and bushings and slip the tech a pack of cold adult beverages or a yuppie food stamp or something to swap the parts out.

Re: looking for OE control arms...

I guess I can do that but after buying all the parts and paying the techs I feel like that would be close to the cost of just buying the mevotechs with new busing and ball joints in it already. Plus I'd have new control arms on there.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if the mevotechs are junk or not. Or if there is an alternative, reputable company who makes an OE control arm with bushings and ball joints in it. If not I'll have to go your route

Or, upgrade from stock OEM bushings to nice GW Del-A-Lum bushings too.
