1992 Upper Ball joints

Hi:

I am having hard time finding options for stock replacement the upper ball joints. There are many options for the lower ones. Even rock auto has part number for one upper ball joint from a manufacturer that I have never heard of. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 1992 Upper Ball joints

Good to know!
This is my first 3rd gen. I guess I should have taken the wheels off. I am done with engine and tranny swap and I wanted to get the front end firmed up since it feels very loose. So, besides all other stuff (ties rods and end links,...) is there anything else should be replaced?
Thanks

3rd gens use a macpherson strut setup. They have an upper strut mount.

There's a good reason for that.

I would check every steering component 1st before just replacing good parts with china replacements. Look at the idler arm if it's still original, they go bad in 10k miles or less sometimes.
