No fuel while cranking
All the fuses are OK and I can get a spark at the ignition coil. But the fuel pump will not turn at all. I replaced the pump about 2 or 3 months ago and don't want to do it again. It ran fine this morning but after my class it just didn't want to start. Maybe ignition coil is bad or even the module. Oh yeah the fuel pump relay is also new. Does anyone know what it could be?

I know someone has some info on this subject. I searched all night but could not find a definite answer. I would hate to change the fuel pump and not solve my problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Same thing just happened to my '91. I checked the ECM, coil, all relays & fuses, pickup coil and it turned out to be the ignition module. You can check the coil and pickup coil with a volt meter. The module takes special equiment to test, most parts stores can't ckeck it either(none here could anyway). Most likely it is your module though. If you don't know how to test the stuff I said E-mail me and I'll send you instrutions. Bobby

I had to replace mine twice a couple of months ago.
One thing that I failed to check was the fuse that is in the engine bay. If that fuse goes out the Fuel Pump won't kick on.
Just wanted to make sure you didn't over look that fuse in the engine bay near the battery.
Other than that sometimes it's just a bad Fuel pump.

Check the ground block up by the radiator make certain the nuts tight. make sure the connection is tight also. how about the ground behind the driver seat. not sure if the oil pressure switch has anything to do with it operating, i was told if it doesnt work it wont start.

It was the fuel pump and since I can't spend 4 hours changing it
(college sucks) I went with the easy aka "lazy" route with the hole cut out of the hatch. It took about an hour and it doesn't look that bad. If you can't do it one way, improvise! Thanks for the responses.
