Engine: 305 TBI

Spark plug question?
ok soo i always get confused with this stuff but heres my deal....when its really cold out...like it was 30 degrees out...i get a miss untill it warms up its gone..is it possible its my plugs...i replaced them a couple months ago but heres my thing....my timing on the car was about 10-12 degrees retarded..i found out its been like that since ive owned my car...and im guessing that probly took a toll on my plugs pretty quick...ohh make a short story quick....guy i went to school with had the same car as me when i got mine and he did the timing without unpluging the wire...and i never know about unpluging the wire till bout a week ago...my car runs awesome now as i set it to 4 degrees advanced....but do u guys think the 10 degrees retarded ate my plugs up

its quite possible that they did. Plugs are cheap, and a new set, sure is not going to hurt anything.
