LO3/LO5 Motorswap

Okay here is a wild idea for you guys. My dad wrecked his 1991 Z-71. He just had the motor rebuilt on it. I was thinking that this would be a half what good idea. LO3/LO5? For those that don't know the LO5 was the 350 counter part to the LO3 (305). From what the guy at GM told me they are rated for 240hp. That maybe wrong and if so I would like to know the actual rating on it. It wouldn't be a hard swap from what I gather. Would I even need to swap any PROM or compter stuff? Does all the wiring hook right up? The truck is the the drive way I might as well get what I can from it, its free after all :-) I don't want a load of HP but 250-300 sounds good. I wanna keep it TBI for gas milage and keep it some what stock looking. I assume that my intake would work on it. The heads were just redone so they should be fine. Then with the 14X3, thermo/fan switch.... Might be a good combo with the T-56. Also does this have the 2" bores on the TBI? What do you guys think? Am I missing any possable problems? Let me know, the car is sitting there for the snow to go away and I wanna play with some thing :-) Thanks guys, we have a lot of smart people here and hopefully we can come up with some kick a$$ tbi to play with.

Should be in motor swap board.
I have to say that the stock intake will work and everything will work no problem. The bad part is that the stock TB unit and intake manifold are a waste of material. You will definatly notice a difference with the engine in but don't expect to be able to beat many rustangs. It probably is the easiest swap for any EFI engine. I don't think it could get any easier, only thing I can think of that needs to be changed is the knock sensor. Since it's free then that's your best bang for the buck.

Dale Earnhart, you have done so much, you will be missed.
