i read in gtechs manual that their 1/4 mile trap speed is actually more accurate than a strip, because the gtech knows exactly how fast your are going from the calculations it makes at the exact time it calculates you have went a 1.4 mile.
on the track, they measure your time between two distances and average them i beleive. not radar you or anything.
so it may not read what your timeslip says, but i guess its more accurate. anybody ever radar gunned against a g=tech.
i do know that when i did a halfassed 1/4 mile with my g-tech, i let off at 75, coasted a bit, and it shut off and read my time and speed, and that was the speed my speedo read too at that moment.
