Could a code 43 cause a rough idle situation?
I know that code 43 is knock/esc related. But could this casue a rough idle or is the timing at idle just set at on point? Trying like crazy to fix this stupid surging at idle issue for about 5 months now and still not getting anywhere.
Also if i unplug the esc should i notice a differnce in idle quaility? becase i did that and i didnt notice any change.

Spark retard isnt allowed when the engine is idling, so if there is a code 43, it shouldn't effect the advance at idle.
