Yes, you can get the air conditioning eliminator and save the compressor. When you want to add it back on, you will need to replace the reciever drier, bolt the compressor up and take it to a shop to pull a vacuum on it and re-charge it to find any additional leaks. I have done it, and it was no big deal.
As for the heater valve, do you mean the control that divert coolant to the heater core? Just take the hoses off the heater core tubes against the fire wall and get a plug to thread into that part of the manifold. Might want to take some compressed air and blow out one side of the heater core tubes (don't ask). If this is what you mean, this is would work.

search for "heater valve delete" there should be lots of posts to look through. If there isn't, try "heater valve"

Heater valve delete: I'm doing it, got all the parts and now just need to drain the coolant so I can change the thermo and upper radiator hose.
You'll need 3/4 and 5/8 heater hose, get about 3 feet of each. You're going to want to run the 3/4 to the waterpump and the 5/8 to the intake manifold.
You'll need the barbed fittings. Go with brass from homedepot. The waterpump and intake (if standard) should be 1/2" and standard compression thread, NOT garden hose!
I had to do some nifty adapting because I couldn't find the 3/4" barb to 1/2" so I went the garden hose route just for the barb and then adapted it to the 1/2" compression thread. Lowes and Home Depot only have one little tray item that has a 3/4" barb with compression thread , it's usually empty.
I would also recommend using the teflon tape. Double layers and it'll work great and last forever. I like the teflon tape because it's cheap, easy, clean, and works everytime. Everything on my new engine is teflon taped .
I'll have pictures up on my website when I get the chance, damn school work, today I just found out they ADDED 2 more physics labs to the end of the quarter!!! AAAAHHHHHH

If your question is how do you get to the screws that you can't see under the hood, they are under that mess that's under the dash. Fun time for sure. Do you have a non-a/c heater box or are you going to delete the heat too?
