Car: 1993 Z-71 pickup
Engine: Heavily modified 355 on TBI
Transmission: Had a 4L60e. Now a 700R4
Axle/Gears: Bone Stock
454 TBI...Year?
Hey guys,
I've got a 454 TBI unit and the part number is 17090015. When I do a search I cant find anything about the year / application other than it directs me to an earlier post of mine.
I need to replace the TPS. I know the local parts yo-yo is gonna have a field day with me when all I can tell him is "that its from a 454".
Any idea what model and year this TBI is from?????? Ya know he's gonna ask!

You have two choices for TPS that may fit 17090015 454 TBI. Interpreting the date code next to the part number may narrow parts selections a bit:
TPS
1995-1988 7.4L (N) 454" 17113070, 17106681 uses a vertical, compact connector type unlike conventional weather pack connectors and mounts directly onto throttle shaft.
1989-1988 7.4L (N) 454" 17111787 has side ways connector, with external lever which is being pushed by throttle shaft.
