why does my TBI bog down a little?

ok, I got my hands on a nice 89 rs, it came with a 92 lo3 engine, to make a long story short ...i took it to get a slight hesitation fixed, but instead got it back with a 2bbl carb and cast iron intake.... .. so i just put the tbi system back on via ebay, and it has a good idle, i also resealed the motor. now my problem is when i rev it and hold it a 3-4 rpm it holds it for about 1 sec and then drops a little bit, what can the problem be???

You could start by making sure all sensor are there, the IAC is set and working, test the fuel pressure and make sure the trottle blades are not sticking.

i got the response waaaay better, now when i'm cruising and try to stay at 30-40 mph, the car will feel like it wants to die, kinda like when you dont give it enough gas to let the clutch out, kinda rocks back and forward ,,,i just put a zoom clutch and had the flywheel turned...bled the clutch lines
