Transmission: to many to list
Axle/Gears: 9bolt 4:10 in the T/A

Transmission: TH700R4, 4200 stall
Axle/Gears: 9", 4.33:1
Those are bound to happen sooner or later.... I have them on both sides of my GTA too.... Not quite as big as yours though. I feel your pain!! .

Wow, that cracked block V6 I junked must have been something else, because mine was cracked when I got it, before the V8 went in...

the large amount of those cracks come from driving around with bad suspention. as for torqy motors, they can cause this but only if you have lots of tourqe. my motor had around 400 ft lb, and the tears where about a 1\4 of the size until the incident. the car in pic is the 87 iroc in my sig. look at this pic. i was just seeing what people would say. the damage is from a light pole

It really doesnt' take much torque in these cars for those stress cracks to develop. Most of the thirdgen v-8 F-body I have seen have those stress cracks.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit large for just a stress crack in the paint like what my car exhibits, but then again, the quality of the picture is on par with a broken-lens'ed disposible camera shot through a spider'ed windshield at night with no flash, so........
