Low idle, somtimes stalls
I just rebuilt the motor and now the idle seems pretty low (damn tach doesn't work so I can't tell you exactly), but it almost sounds like a miss but I'm not sure. If I rev it a bit and let it go back down on its own it'll stall. It'll somtimes stall just idling, but it actually seems like thats getting better. It's fine with a little gas, but once you let off it goes pretty low and stalls. Any ideas? It's an 85 MAF car.

Uroc n roll,
You'll really need to get a handheld tach to check the RPM, then set minimum air position. Until you know the actualy RPM, it's all a guess as to what the problem might be. You can pick up a low-end tach that will be adequate for about twenty bucks, or check the garage sale items at Actron. They have an analog tach on sale for $12.00:
