Isn't PH the designation for a FRAM? If so, get on your knees and pray to Almighty G0D that you could not get your hands on one.
Go with an AC, WIX or even Deutsch filter. Hell, just about anything is better than a Fram.
Word on the street is that AC Delco filters will only be available from the dealer from now on. I've read it on the boards before and seen the supplies on the shelves in the stored dry up, so I believe it.

And i think you meant PF25 and PF35, right?
Yes You are probly right PF. AC Delco is the only thing that goes on my cars. But if only the dealers have them now, guess I'll have to find anouther brand.
I'll never put a fram on it. I have cut them apart.
What's all this trash-talk about Fram? Can somebody point me to some threads as to why Fram is so bad, or give me some facts?
I'm not trying to defend Fram or anything, just curious; I've got a rebuilt engine waiting to be fired-up this week, and I put a Fram on it. I figure that the engine oil will probably get dirty pretty quickly, which is why I plan on changing the oil and filter after a few hundred miles--is that all-the-more-reason that I shouldn't be using Fram right now?
I know what you mean about the PF25 and PF35's. Can't find them around here. Wichita, Ks. Passing through a small town in Texas this past weekend, went into a auto parts store, and saw 4 PF-25's sitting on the shelf, bought them all.

Thanks
Cut one apart and decide for yourself. On my crown vic I use FL-1a. One day the store was out and I used FRAM. Also I thought that black grip stuff was cool. So I bought one. I noticed at 1,000 miles my oil looked dirty. It's never black on the oil dip stick. SO I changed it and put a FL1A on it. At 2,500 miles the oil on the dip stick was still clear with the motorcraft. So Next time I tried a FRAm again and guess what it was black again at 1,000 miles. SO I thought what the heck is going on here. I took the Fram off and cut it apart I then cut the Ford one apart. Big differance on the inside.
You decide for yourself cut both apart and tell us what you see. If you change your oil every 2K miles like I do it problaby won't make a differance. But if your like me and when it comes to my two F-bodies money is not a option only the best AC-Delco parts go it. Even thier fuel filter which cost me $16 compared to the $6 at autozone... Yesterday I was in autozone and saw a guy with a new 4th gen T/A buy the cheapest oil and filter they had. $.89 oil. Is it worth saveing $3-4. He spends that much on friday nights chaseing girls...
