You mean the one from the header to the alt? Probably you mean a tensioner one. There is no tensioner the belt is the exact size.

Belts stretch. V-belt setups had grooves to allow for this. Tensioners allow for it. Your setup doesn't. I tried the same thing and it ate belts. Using too small of a belt strains it because it's too tight. Using the right size causes the tension to be incorrect once it stretches. Either way, the belts won't last long. I hope you have better luck than I had, or maybe better belts?
