ques about the zz4 engine

i am going to go with the zz4 engine in my 86 ta , i was reading on the net that they go for 3700 us tax in , now i went to my local good wrench dealers here in canada they want 7800 canadian for the engine, with the canadian dollar so high i'm willing to go to the us and pick it up ,the only thing is i need your help and letting me no where the cheapest place to pick this engine is , i will make some calls in traverse city michigan for the price, if anyone has any info for me it will be greatly apreciated

What would the shipping be on one of those. and mikobu3 let me know if u get the ZZ4. I live in canada to and am lookin into getting a ZZ4 or ZZ430

the shipping will be big bucks thats why i'm looking for a dealer in michigan , i can;t believe these dealers in canada there nuts,

for putting a zz4 together for 1300 , i find that hard to believe
you could put together a zz430 with the lt4 hot cam and the fast burn heads,
remember the zz4 is the best of the best 4 bolt main aluminum heads ect

Yeah ZZ4s are rad engines. But theres a couple. Theres the 350hp ZZ4, the 410hp ZZ4, and the 430hp ZZ430

Believe it because I did Keep in mind though I never said the parts were new because they aren't except the cam. But the used parts are all low miles

Why not get the zz4 bottom end and use the rest of the money for decent heads instead of the ones it comes with that barely flow 200 cfm at .500 in lift. The bottom end cost less and shipping should be less. And you could do a vortec head/intake combo or something else.
