Broken 305
Okay so I bought an 88 RS last week (thursday) was driving it home the next day and the motor started making a really loud knocking sound I pulled over to check it out couldn't see anything started it back up again noise continued.
I decided to just ignore it and figure out the problem when I got home unfortunatly I didn't make it home. Car overheated and blew the oil cap clean off. Then I realized there was water mixed in with the oil ( Oil was a greyish muddy color and really runny)
So I finally decided to tackle the problem today drained all the oil out of the car, and what not so can somebody diagnose the problem with my broken 305?
It really doesn't bother me that much because I'm picking up a 350 later this week to put in the car but I wouldn't mind getting the rest of month's use out of the car if I can..... any suggestions on what to do???
