Whos running a Big Solid Roller?

I have a set of solid roller lifters and some evil springs I am considering using.

My question is, How often do you adjust them, and how much of a difference in idle quality is there from a hydraulic roller?

If i went with one if would be in the 230/240 range with as much lift as i can find. Its a daily driver though, and while adjusting rockers isnt hard it is particularly messy and somwhat annoying to do before work every other week.

Or how often?

run valves once a year or so, running the valves on a solid cam isn't messy, with same specs there would no noticable differance in idle

I have a fairly large one for a street setup and I only had to adjust it once after the initial buildup back in April. Just did a couple of weeks ago actually because they were gettting a little too noisy. Of course if you could afford it, go with a hydraulic roller and be trouble free. That what I would have done... but oh well. Anybody want a solid roller setup ? lol

Actually thats not bad, once a year, once in a great while, very nice..

I still need a cam pushrods and springs to match... so if you want to get rid of yours let me know. I will probably go for it then, since i have the lifters i cant afford $419 for retro fits.
