the zz4 is overall a very mild camshaft and would be a decent upgrade from stock if your just looking for a few extra ponies.

having not dealt with the cc304 (or the zz4 for that matter) i could comment on it. if you want a really nice cam to compliment your vortech heads, go with the LT4 hotcam. that setup has been proven time and again to be a good runner on a budget.

Thanks for the reply. The "hot cam" was my first choice but I thought I'd stay with something milder since I'm still not switching to port fuel injecton yet.

I had a compcam D/210*-220* L/.480-.480 LSA/112 in my old 350 Dynoed 265HP-323TQ 1st pull no with tuning and are now using the HotCam in my 383 both are mild in the combo's I have or had.The HotCam is the mildest cam I would use in a 350 after using both.

The hot cam's are priced decently.

Yes its rear wheel its about 310-330HP at the crank also the motor spun five bearings on the 2nd pull.So for a small cam its not so bad it also passed NJ emissions 1/2 of the limit on everything. But you will want more power go with the HotCam.
