anyone with 305 heads on a 350 please read
i have a set of 305 heads (416 casting) and i was considering cleaning them up and gasket matching them and just pocket porting them (nothing too outragous) and putting them on my 350. my 350 has 411 heads witch are the swirrel style and they are low compression and have dished top pistons. well my 411's are starting to go bad. adn the 305 heads are pretty new. so would it be worth it to swap them? i know it will raise my compression but will it give me power or even better gas milage? i did alot of searching and i didnt really find what i was lookin for. i also found some stuff saying not to even mess with the lg4 heads. any help or advice anyone has would be very much appreciated. thanks alot

I'm with the big V on this, it works, and can work well. We did it on a thirdgen way back in the day even before some rag printed their try on it. Granted it may have had something to do with the fragged stock heads, but who's counting anyway?
