Jegs A/C Compressor... Will it fit?

Alright buddy, I was just going through my jegs catalogue and all the sudden I saw a jegs brand A/C compressor for pretty cheap prices. Considering what you get. Here’s what I saw,

Now it is made for v-belt I already made sure of that, but will it bolt up to the existing brackets?

See these as jegs page,

Thanks,
Shane

it pretty much says that it is meant to be used with R-134a, does that mean i cant use regualr R-12, or since i gotta replace all hoses should i just go ahead and covert?

That looks to be an old style axial compressor, so , no it won't just bolt right up to your brackets.

To change to R134 you need to change the receiver/dryer, hoses will be ok if they don't leak. Also change the metering orafice tube.

You don't have to change anything to go to 134a if your parts are in good working condition. The only thing I changed was my compressor because it had burned up. Been cold for 2 years now. All the other parts are from 1984. Nothing was touched until that time.
