Truck not starting or turning over, OOPS! Clumzy fingers as I got older!!
I wondered what may go wrong such as Starter Sylnoid alternator that motor after this will not turn and barely hear a slight buzz when key is turned.
I had shop that sold me battery check it and it checked out ok, could it shorted fuseable link, alternator and what would keep it from even turning over let alone starting, Please any info appreciated???
1993 Sierra pickup 5.7 conversion 1/2 ton pickup etc.

No offense, my man... but every one of your posts has been about your truck. Granted you have a 5.7 in there, but it's a TBI; and as far as I can recall, no thirdgens came with a 350 TBI stock. You really should be asking your questions on a different forum. And since I'm such a nice guy, here are some suggestions:

Fuseable link and synoeid are what it seems to be as both looked bad. Thanks
WE also checked EST switch, separate issue and found why dist. was not advancing before, short and put in a regular fuse, which we can pull apart to time yet will burn out verses shorting out.
Truck is far from Stock so other comments eat my dirt, helping contacts, since motor issue are motor issues THANKS a lot.
Tech/General Engine THANKS/Truck is but one of many vehicles. IF you got comments about writing ask, don't whine about it and not even use correct spelling or puntucation yourself.

Well I double-checked and then triple-checked my spelling, punctuation and grammar, and I didn't find a single error. I was nice the first time and now you're coming back like someone is doing you an injustice. Ask your truck questions ON A TRUCK FORUM!

I got home from doctor and post above yours is who I was talking to and I use chevytalk.com as well as TPI pickup. One is a 350 other is a 383 TPI.
I know you think all comments are to you, but it was not and not a little kid as far as reporting, but I was rushed at college and old enough to be your dad. Just at times, I have troubles due to health. Person that actually answer is what I did at Chevytalk.com. Not all vehicles are as they came from Dealer!
Thank you went to AJ_92RS !! :lala:

well i guess i will apologize but i didnt mean to come across rude. i really did have a hard time understanding what you wanted to know. i just threw in the thirdgen thing because this is a thirdgen only site and i didnt think this would be a great place to ask a truck question and get many responses. so once again i am sorry because it seems in another thread some little bugger is calling me an **** so i will apologize for being "rude".
