Good News! Now I Need Some Advice
I realize this is 'off-topic', but since this decision is so important, I hope that everyone will understand and indulge me just this once.
My oldest daughter has been attending a special mathematics and science academy program at the University of North Texas, living on campus, since she was 15 years old. It's called The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, aka TAMS.
She began there as a high school sophomore.
The program allows her to complete her last two years of high school and her first two years of college at the same time. The vast majority of her classes are AP and taught by Ph.Ds.
She just made 17 and graduation is next month and she will get her high school diploma and college credit equivalant to an Associates degree.
Beginning early last year, she began researching universities to apply to inorder to continue her education.
She applied to six:
Harvard, Princeton, Standford, Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Berkley.
She has been accepted by all six!
Now the problem: Which one to accept.
She is an Electrical Engineering major.
We've done a lot of research on the universities and she will be visiting three of the campuses - Harvard, Princeton and Stanford within the next few weeks.
I would like any input that anyone may have on the universities. If you happen to know anyone who has attended or has input of the six, they can also contribute any info they may wish to share.
Please email me privately and/or my daughter, Lindsey, at Lindseydenise@hotmail.com
Any input that you feel may be helpful will be greatly appreciated.
It goes without saying that I'm "Bustin' with Pride".
Thanks for understanding.
Jake
