where is the speedo buffer box?!

where is the speedo buffer box in a 91 camaro?
does anyone have a pinout for it?

specificly, i intend to try somthing suggested by another member.
im going to take the "to speedo" wire and connect it to the same pin as the "to cruise control" wire.

the cruise control works of half the PPM (pulses per mile) of the speedo.

this SHOULD effectively make my speedo read half of my actual speed.

i'll then swap gauge faces from a 110 speedo to a 220 speedo.

Hello MrDude_1,

While I don't have the manual for the 91 at the moment, I do have the manual for the 92 camaro. In the 92 models, the only engine that had the VSS buffer box was the 305 TBI and it was located under the dash next to the ECM. The other engines operated off the VSS on the transmission which was a two wire affair going to the ECM.

Yes I can, better yet I will send you a schematic of it. Is this more along the lines of what you are looking for?

Hey Trickster, is there a way to wire it to remove the buffer box completely? I switched from 305 tbi to 352 tpi w/7730 ecm.
