Will driving on a bent axle shaft mess up posi gears?
If not then what are the consequences of driving w a bent leg?

No.

It drives the driver nuts, and can wear the tire funny, and prematurely wear out suspension components from the constant flopping up and down.

Probably not.... the bearing forces that part of the axle to stay in the same place all the time. Although, if the bearing is bad, like if it or the race surface on the axle got damaged in the same curb incident that bent the axle, it won't hold the axle very still; and then it could make the seal leak.
