Steering problem, would a wonder bar help?
Whenever I hit my brakes at highway speeds the steering wheel shudders, and when I do it in town it jumps to the right. Could a wonderbar fix this? if not, what could be wrong with it and how should I go about fixing it?
Thanks
Rich

I wouldn't think they are, I just had them replaced a year ago. the first set was warped out of the box, took them back and so was the second set so they were machined then. anyone else have an opinion?

You have a brake problem not a steering problem. A wonderbar would be a performance improvement for your suspension (steering, handling).
Your pads could also be getting some fluid of some type on them causing them to slip or bite.

If your rotors and pads check out, start looking at the balljoints and the idler arm. These can cause the car to shake, and wonder around the road. I have had a total of 8(including the 2 I currently own) 3rd Gens now, and I can tell you from experience, that around 100K MOST of the cars I have had needed some front-end work, or either I just drive mine too d a m hard!!

Others on this board have experienced cracks where the steering box bolts to the subframe. Your problem sounds more front suspension/brake related. Something to look at though.
