removing the air pump

removing the air pump

will taking off the air pump on my car mess with the o2 sensor reading?

ok then what do i use to block off the air injection holes in the manifolds? or can i just bend the tubes over and pinch them?

IF you do that you'll probably create exhaust leaks. I unscrewd them from the manifold and took one of the old fitting to the hardware store. I used that to find a brass plug which would fit in the manifold hole. I can't remember the exact size but I *think* it was 1/2.
