I hope this is the right board.

I've recently got a new bird, the guy I bought it from had the engine redone. He gave me the receipt for it, and I know everything on here but one thing.

I'm just curious what is it, and is it a standard or performance part. That price tag seems high for a simple part. I understand the engine components. I just don't know all the terminology.

Sounds to me like that's the engine itself.

So does it sound like it's just the block or more. I'm just figuring out what I'm getting into.

Sorry didn't work right the first time. The rest of the info is pretty self explanatory.

Looks like a typical over-the-counter remanufactured engine. One piece RMS roller block, 2 bolt main. Probably has a cast crank and pistons. Anybody's guess what cam and heads are in it, probably nothing to write home about though.
