Question for those who have removed their Smog pumps etc...

Hey guys, I am getting ready to remove my smog pump, and allt the other junk along with it. I already removed the cat. There is no emission checks wher I am at in Florida. What size plugs do I need to block off the exhaust manifolds, where the pollution pipes went? And for those of you that did this too there car, is there any other helpful advice you can give me? How big of a job is this? Can I do it in a day??
Thanks dudes!
Mike

I used 1/4" brass plugs. They didn't thread in very well, I think it was some pipethread thing. But they did the trick. It's a pretty easy job, I did mine in about a half hour. But I suppose if the lines are rusted into the manifolds it would make things more difficult. Better use line wrenches and some rust penetrant.

The threads in the stock exhaust manifold are some strange thread pattern for the those air tubes. Someone once explained it to me. It's more a plumbing type thread. I found some plugs at the hardward store that worked until I got my SLP headers on.
