Will Vette aluminum 113 heads really fit 305?

I need opinions on aluminum 113 vette heads on 305.
I hear both ways, and most say the valves will hit edge of cylinder because of the wider spacing on the 350 valve. Does anybody know for sure?????? I want to use a set on my 305 SD TPI. The engine is a stock bore.

They will fit just fine. There are several members running them on 305 TPIs and 305 TBIs.

I have a friend with Aluminum FastBurns on one. 2.00" Intake, 1.55" exhaust and they fit just fine and will run up to like .600" lift without getting too close.

They don't have the exhaust crossover passage, so you'll either have to use a Vette base (not a bad idea to get the proper bolt angle pattern as well), or program out EGR from your PROM.

They'll effectively lower your compression, as aluminum allows more heat to escape from the combustion chamber - heat loss means energy loss, energy loss means power loss. That is made up with higher static compression, hence the 58cc vs. 64cc chambers for a 350.

Port em up nice and good before they go on. THEN the fun begins.

I have the vette intake already, and also have been burining my own chips for several months now. I just have a 305 TPI that needs a little extra and I have a chance to buy 113 heads but I don't want to cause problems with my driver car. The 305 is so dependable I refuse to change it out even though I have an extra L98 ready to go. Call me crazy but I want to make the 305 better just because it's a step-child engine.
A lot of board messages say the 350 intake valve will hit the edge of cylinder bore on a 305. I already have a LT4 stock cam also to put in the 305. That and some good heads should wake it up.
It's a tossup as whether to use the vette head or the SR Torquers.
Opinions please.

Awhile back somebody put some 1.94/1.60" valve 350 heads on a stock bore 305 block with no pistons and took a picture looking up the bore. The valves were well clear of the cylinder wall, as far as mechanical interference goes.

However, flow is restricted due to the cylinder wall being so close to the edge of the valve vs. a 4" bore.
