Just thought I put it up that I just pluued my engine. It needed to be done since I wasnt getting any oil pressure. We took out the pan and looked over the internals. The reason I wasnt getting any pressure was the oil pump worked the bolt out, and it wasnt even finger tight on there. That would have been great news, but the lack of oil pressure caused some major scratching on the main bearings, two of them are showing the brass or copper. Anyway, Ive decided to go get a short block and swap all my bolt-ons onto it. While im here, can anyone recommend a oil pan gasket set? the last one was a crappy cork one and i had major leaking problems. Thanks for yur time.
