high engine idle
Last week I was flushing the coolant on an '88 GTA and accidently broke that little hard plastic vacuum line that runs to the emissons(don't know the name of it). I tried reconnecting it with a piece of rubber line, but I don;t think it worked. Would that cause the idle to jump up to 2000 RPM at startup and climp? If not, what would?
Oh, BTW, It's a 305 TPI with a hyper tech chip installed by the previous owner. And I'm also having problems with the fans not turning on. Possible ECU/PROM failure?
