Car: 1984 Camaro z28/SC
Engine: 355
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 9bolt 3.89
Finally got the motor built
Runs and sounds great, but the distributer already crapped out on me though, but it was a quick fix. Just need to organize the plug wires in the back and set the timing correctly. Still have to paint the headers since break in. It really pushes the exhaust out, feels like a hurricane through the pipes lol... Specs in sig.

I put all my information into a hp calculator... and it says I'd be making around 457hp @ 6500rpm and 421lbs @ 5000 if everything was tuned correctly... could anyone tell me about what the numbers would be at the rear wheels? If run through 3.89 rear gears and about a 255/60R15 tire. Thanks

No point in painting the headers. It will just burn off again. For rwhp you can subtract 20% and get a close estament.
