Engine: 305 - Demon 525
Transmission: 700R4
engine and trans weight?
How much do you think both the engine and the trans weights together? This is a 305 with a 700R4.

With heads, intake, accessories and all, the 305 is around 600 lbs give or take depending on what intake and so forth; and the trans is about 175 with converter. So, 750-800 somewhere, I'd guess.

Thanks cool thanks for the reply. I'm trying to figure some towing weights to move my car with me. There is no way I'm going to leave my 3rdgen behind. Its my first car and I've owened it for 7 years by now. Still to heavy to pull even if I leave the engine behind. lol I should have bought a truck for my daily driver. That way I can haul the bird to the track when its ready. Ehh live and learn.
